Crashes sometimes

I have been a happy user of the ancestral Guitar Tools for several years, but I recently purchased a new iPod Touch and had to update to this. Sometimes it works fine and other times it crashes almost immediately. The icon starts to expand out to the splash screen and then boom! It crashes. Sometimes trying to open it several times will get it to work, sometimes rebooting the iPad will fix it and sometimes Im just out of luck. And there is no apparent rhyme or reason. Maybe the recent iOS upgrade will help. Time will tell.
